The New Fairfield/ Sherman Animal Welfare Society plans to hold its first Dog Walk and Pet Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 18 on the Naromi Land Trust 's Mallory Trail, near Sherman Town Hall on Route 39.
