Mr Chimney is his nickname. His wife, with her wry sense of humour, feels it ‘soots’ him. Mr Chimney has to smoke compulsively, or else he will fume. Tobacco, pulverised and rolled into a cigarette when lit and inhaled pacifies him, even fires his imagination.
