Richard Samuel Saylor, the first faculty member hired for Cal State San Bernardino's music department, has died. Mr. Saylor was composer who had two works included on the "Selective List of American Music for the Bicentennial Celebration" when the nation marked its 200th anniversary in the 1970s.
