The Rev. Basil B. Day Jr. of Deer Park United Methodist Church in Smallwood celebrated 25 years in pastoral ministry in January. Day received a letter of commendation from Eugene W. Matthews, District Superintendent of the Baltimore-Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church.
