Jim Simmons, vice president of the Historic Effingham Society, presents a check and certificate to Effingham County High School graduate Susan Scudder, recipient of the Henry J. Wilkins Memorial Scholarship during Class Night in May. The scholarship is awarded annually to an Effingham County high school senior who will persue a post-secondary history or journalism degree.
