John Parcell knows the great opportunities that playing a musical instrument can give someone. For Parcell, playing his trumpet with a band of music educators led to a free European trip years ago. And now, Parcell's love of music leads him to George Washington Carver Elementary School in Kansas City each Thursday to teach students.
