ContributorNetwork - The Federal Communications Commission is in the spotlight as the House subcommittee on Communications and Technology takes up the FCC Process Reform Act today. Reps. Greg Walden, R-Ore., and Adam Kinzinger, R-R.I., say the bill is needed to make the FCC accountable. They described to The Hill a two-year backlog that has plagued the agency since summer: 1,351,899 unanswered consumer complaints, 5,328 pending petitions and 4,034 license applications and renewals.
