As Matt Wiley, 27, of Mountain Home got to know Ol' Red, a large pit bull mix, outside the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas Tuesday, he didn't know the shelter had just received funds to keep bringing pets and people together. Wiley, with Catrina Davis, was looking for a dog and planning what size stake and chain Ol' Red would need once home.
