ContributorNetwork - The South Carolina state House of Representatives Tuesday passed a Senate-amended version of the illegal immigration reform law that the House passed earlier in the year. It is legislation that, according to the Associated Press, closely approximates those already passed in Indiana, Utah, Georgia, Alabama, and Arizona. Now, South Carolina's legislation simply awaits the signature of Governor Nikki Haley, whose office has said she will sign it.
