Jury Awards $675K In Music Downloading Case (NPR)

A federal jury on Friday ordered a graduate student who admitted illegally downloading and sharing music online to pay $675,000 to four record labels. Joel Tenenbaum said he was thankful the jury didn't order him to pay the maximum, $4.5 million, but that he would file for bankruptcy if the verdict stands.
