AP - The Associated Press-GfK poll on holiday shopping and the economy was conducted by GfK Roper Public Affairs & Media from Dec. 3-8, 2008. It is based on landline and cell phone telephone interviews with a nationally representative random sample of 1,000 adults. Interviews were conducted with 798 respondents on landline telephones and 202 on cellular phones.
