Appolicious - Motorola brings two new Android tablets to the market, the Droid Xyboard 8.2 and 10.1, each on Verizon’s LTE network. The manufacturer’s been particularly quiet on the US front, having already launched the Xoom 2 in the UK and Ireland, giving stateside consumers very little in the way of tablets since the Android 3.0 Honeycomb Xoom back in February. It’s very clear that Android’s become a global brand, with a $100 tablet (running ICS) emerging in China, with plans to make its way to the US soon. But don’t count out smartphones just yet. ...
