Just as today’s popular music reflects popular culture, Rick Barlow’s sheet music collection depicts the American music and social scene of the early 1900s. Barlow, 63, bought his first sheet music in 1973 at an antique store in Aspen, Colo. It was “Your Daddy Did the Same Thing 50 Years Ago,” a tune by Joe McCarthy, Joe Goodwin and Al Piantadosi, from 1912.
