In his July 3 letter, “Applaud Christie’s marriage stand,” the Rev. Mark Franklin used all of the rhetoric that is typical of our nation’s current brand of George Wallaces, including referring to my friends and me as “the powers of darkness” who suffer from a “perversion.”
