Temple Shearith Israel has hired a new rabbi to lead the congregation. Rabbi Eric Eisenkramer will be the spiritual leader for the Reform Jewish congregation, at 46 Peaceable Street. Rabbi Eisenkramer will assume the role in July 2008, following Rabbi Jon Haddon’s retirement after 21 years.
