More independent films and out-of-the-mainstream art films are coming to Louisville. Beginning Friday, Apex Entertainment will book new movies at Village 8 that aren't major Hollywood releases. Apex, a local investment group that also owns Baxter Avenue Theatres, will continue screening recent popular movies at Village 8, a discount theater complex on Dutchmans Lane.
