Investor's Business Daily - The carmaker, which emerged from bankruptcy last year after a gov't bailout, confirmed it'll pay more than 96% of its 26,000 salaried workers merit bonuses of 4%-16% of their base pay this year. GM's top 100 earners are still subject to gov't-imposed pay restrictions. Chrysler will pay bonuses averaging $10,000 for 10,755 salaried workers, Bloomberg said. GM rose 1.6% to 36.45.
